Polisena L'Altro Agriturismo is in the Lombardy countryside 25 minutes' drive from Bergamo. Built in the 1700s it is an organic farmhouse that produces its own wine and has an organic restaurant. This eco-friendly property is actually an ex monastery with a quiet setting in the hills and surrounded by its private vineyards. It has been built using natural materials such as stone and wood. Rooms are allergy-free and have a modern design with wood floors and interesting furnishings. With free Wi-Fi all rooms overlook the surrounding countryside and vineyards and have access to a bioclimatic verandah. Agriturismo Polisena L'Altro uses homegrown ingredients in its organic restaurant. You can also take part in wine tastings in the property's vineyard. There is also a spa with Turkish bath and a Finnish sauna. The property's wine is famous in the Valcalepio wine area and is available to buy on site. Pontida Train Station is 10 minutes' drive away. A free shuttle to/from Orio Al Serio Airport can be organised on request.
