General

Set in the Tuscan countryside 4 km north of Lucca this inn dates back to the 19th century. It features a popular restaurant and a large garden with fruit trees. Rooms at Locanda del Pesce Briaco have a retro design with lots of colour and character. They come with a TV private bathroom and views of the garden or the town of Lucca. From November to April a self-service breakfast is available while in the remaining part of the year a continental breakfast is served. It includes homemade cakes fruit juices and hot drinks. The restaurant is featured in a number of prestigious guides and is well known for its delicious Tuscan cuisine and extensive wine list. Meals are served in the cosy dining room with wood-beamed ceilings and original artworks on the walls or in warm weather out in the garden by candlelight. Lucca's historic centre is around 10 minutes away by car while Pisa is 30 km from the Locanda del Pesce Briaco.
