The Low Farm is a traditional 17th century stone Long House in a stunning location in the breathtaking Duddon valley. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The four-bedroom cottage has accommodation for up to 9 guests in 4 bedrooms and has many original features including flagstone and Oak floors beamed ceilings wood burning stove open fire places Aga original doors timber panelling and a Scandinavian style wood fired hot tub. It sits on a generous plot with cottage gardens great views and ample parking just a short walk from the River Duddon. A two-bedroom cottage is also available in the adjacent barn. The scenery of the Duddon valley made it a favourite location of William Wordsworth and Alfred Wainwright both of whom wrote extensively about this beautiful part of the Lake District. The Low Farm is situated 1 km from Ulpha and 6 km from Broughton-in-Furness in an area of natural beauty. It has access to the central lakes and is a popular destination for walkers cyclists anglers and nature lovers.
