This 18th-century coaching inn is perched on a hill overlooking Ullswater the second largest lake in the Lake District National Park. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning at The Brackenrigg and delicious Cumbrian cuisine is served for lunch and evening meals. Food is freshly prepared and made from local ingredients. Rooms at Brackenrigg Inn are traditionally furnished and come with a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. Each has its own bathroom and some rooms also have picturesque views of the lake. You can enjoy scenic walks in the surrounding parkland and Soulby is 2 miles from the building. Penrith can be reached in 15 minutes by car and Keswick is a 25-minute drive away.
